- That's a good place to start if "proposed amendments" refers to the
- general revision of the standard. But the only amendments likely
- to take effect in the near term are those implemented as Technical
- Corrigenda (i.e., resulting from Defect Reports) or Normative Addenda.

- was supposed to be finished a couple of months ago, and nothing's
- been posted about that at all. *What happened*?
